The University of Cincinnati and the Carl H. Lindner College of Business are both in a period of tremendous change, growth, and innovation. Likewise, the Lindner Student Association is going through a season of growth and change. This past year was the best yet for our young organization as we hosted our most prestigious speakers yet, led service events in the community, and provided opportunity after opportunity for business students within the college to develop themselves. We are beyond excited to move forward with a new name into a 2015 school year filled with opportunity. Thank you to each and every person who has supported our organization to help us achieve what we have thus far, and as the Lindner College of Business continues to grow and evolve, we look forward to growing and evolving with it in our pursuit of building better business students. Whether it is through a new building or a new co-op system, we are thrilled to serve the students within the Lindner College of Business for the upcoming year.
Over the summer, the Lindner Student Association rebranded itself to create a consistent look, tone, and feel to the organization. Over the past year, we conducted market research to understand how Lindner students and UC students in general perceived the organization. A vast majority of them could not explain what they thought a "Student Action Team" does, and even more of them never realized that most of the programs we created are actually hosted under the LSA umbrella.
Therefore, our new name and design materials are intended to create a more connected student organization, reflected by the similarities in the red and black hexagonal designs and the consistent branding across all platforms. Our goal was to create a brand look that feels professional but also fun, and we are extremely proud of the finished work.
